Synopsis[]

Oolong]] drives Bulma and Son Goku towards Fry-Pan Mountain and explains how it was a peaceful place until 10 years ago, when a Fire Spirit fell from the heavens and it was caught in perpetual flame. The Ox King and his daughter were on a picnic during the time and survived it, but have never been able to get back to their home. He warns them that the Ox King is a fearsome man who kills all those who encroach on his land. He panics and flees in the car, only to have Bulma whistle and give him violent diarrhea, forcing him to stay.
Meanwhile, Yamcha is tracking them from a distance in his Mighty Mouse with Pu'ar, when he sees a young girl running from an enormous dinosaur. She hurls a blade from her helmet at it, which decapitates it. Then she fires a beam of energy from the gem on her helmet, that destroys it's remains. She then runs into Yamcha and presumes him to be an enemy, so she blasts off another laser. He evades the blast and knocks her out with an overhead smash.
Son Goku, Bulma and Oolong explore the remains of the village at the base of the mountain, which is mostly destroyed and filled with skeletons. Son Goku calls Kinto'Un and flies up to the castle to look for the dragon ball. While he's gone, Gyū-Maō appears and hurls a giant axe at Bulma and Oolong that embeds in a wall besides them. They scream in terror and the enormous man interrogates them about why they're on his land. Son Goku returns and Gyū-Maō becomes alarmed when he sees Kinto'Un, demanding to know where he got the cloud and becoming much less scary.
Trivia[]
- This chapter marks the first appearance of [[Gyū-Maō]] and Chi-Chi.
- Chi-Chi being chased by the dinosaur is referenced later in the series when her son is also running from one.
- This chapter can be re-visited during a Time Machine Quest in Dragon Ball Online, where you must defend Chi-Chi from dinosaurs.
